Mary M. Boone is a skilled and results-driven attorney specializing in family law, juvenile law, orders of protection, abuse and neglect, and criminal defense. She takes pride in ensuring that each client receives the highest level of legal representation. Mary listens carefully to her clients’ positions when evaluating their cases, striving to understand their unique needs and concerns in order to provide tailored legal solutions that best serve their interests. Mary has significant trial experience, previously working as a Public Defender in Kane County and having been lead counsel in dozens of trials. Mary is an effective negotiator and, when necessary, an aggressive and artful litigator.

Upon her graduation, Mary obtained her Juris Doctor at Boston College Law School. While at Boston College, Mary served as a student attorney for the Ninth Circuit Appellate Project, where she successfully authored briefs and presented oral argument before the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Subsequently, Mary worked in private practice for Nielsen, Zehe & Antas, P.C., for two and a half years as both a law clerk and associate attorney in the litigation field before becoming a public defender for three and a half years.
